An Exceptional program for Your Baby to Thrive

Your baby will experience an environment that invites exploration and supports his/her exciting progression through babyhood. Each infant program is designed for babies to:

  • Make sense of the world by exploring a rich sensory environment of stimulating sights, sounds, textures, and sensations
  • Discover and develop all bodily powers in soft, safe surroundings – to roll over and pull up, to creep and crawl, and to step out into the world
  • Connect and form relationships that foster security and trust
  • Learn to communicate, surrounded by wonderful conversations, poetry, finger plays, singing, reading, and lots of smiles and hugs

Keeping You Part of Your Baby’s Day
Through daily communication you’ll know how excited and comforted your child was that day.

Following staff assignments during various routine activities reflect ‘Comar regulations 13A.16.09’

1. Infant Feeding.

Staff will hold the infant for each bottle feeding except when the infant or toddler is developmentally able and insistent upon self-feeding. An infant or toddler will hold the bottle only if it is unbreakable and when he is seated. Staff will label all infant foods and bottles with the infant’s name, dated, and refrigerate it at suitable temperature.
Foods that present a high risk of choking for infants and toddlers will not be served to them, reusable bottles and nipples will be washed, rinsed, and sanitized before reuse by the staff.

2. Diaper changes will take place every 2 hours unless needed more frequently. Changing table will be cleaned and sanitized after every change by the staff.

Staff will ensure that during indoor play they have quality interaction and infants and toddlers are provided with suitable equipment and materials which encourage active exploration as Comar regulations suggest that the infant/toddler should be:

(a) Held, played with, and talked to;
(b) Except when sleeping, given opportunities to sit, crawl, toddle, or walk outside the infant’s crib or play pen.

Staff will take infants out and supervise them closely, keeping in view health and safety regulations. They will take infants and toddlers out daily because Comar regulations suggest that ‘Except in inclement weather, infants and toddlers should be taken outdoors daily;

Staff will choose activities from healthy beginnings and ensure activities, materials and equipments are available for infants and toddlers that support their cognitive, language and physical development.
